Day 5 MFT Camp Create - Glitzy Glitter

 Hello everyone,
Last Camp Create project- and it is so glittery! I made a super easy card and let the glitter take center stage.  The "Hello" is the Big Hello Die from MFT and I glittered it with Jewel Glitter Ritz Opaque Micro Fine Glitter in Garnet by first taking a piece of white cardstock and putting some stickit on first then die cutting the Hello and then I played with the glitter.... the dogs are glittered, my work space if glittered, but it is such a beautiful color, the pictures do not do it justice.  I cut out a piece of Echo Park Designer Paper and then laid out the "hello" and glued it down, added some "hole-less" sequins all over and then put it all down onto a black top folding A2 card base.
I had a great time with Camp Create this year... thanks for checking out my projects
See you soon!

Trying to get the glitter on camera- it is so pretty

Camp Create Bonus: Gather ‘Round the Campfire - Divine Dry Embossing

Hello everyone,
Bonus project!!!!
I am in love with this Big Hello die from MFT.  My crafty BFF gave it to me and I could not be happier, it has become a go to for me!  I had this watercolor panel in my stash from playing around for Day 1 and I thought this would be perfect for this project.  So I dry embossed the Hello and almost left it that way as it was so pretty, but I have been wanting to play with the Polar Bears for a while and thought this would be a cute addition.... so that is what occurred.  I colored the cute sitting bear with copics and added some white dots on the scarf and then a layer of wink of stella.  Popped him up with some fun foam and added some clear "hole-less" sequins and put it all on a white A2 card base.  What a fun technique and love the results!

Day 4 MFT Camp Create - Sensational Sliders

Hello everyone,
So Day 4 was for Sensational Sliders.  I did not have any slider channel dies so used my MFT Wonky Circles and made my own channel.  I die cut a piece of white Neenah cardstock to 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 and die cut 2 circles, then I used Broken China Distress Oxide and used it on all pieces after which I spritzed it with lots of water.  I wanted to keep the background simple and focus on those super fun fish from Avery Elle.  I then added my fish with some dimensional foam to my pennies and put my card together with lots of fun foam to pop it all up.  I put it on a 5 x 5 black card base and stamped my fun sentiment in the middle... because those fish will definitely make you want to flip that frown upside down. This is my first slider so there are a few things I would do a little different, but it was still so fun and I will be doing this again.
See you soon

Day 3 MFT Camp Create 2017- Spectacular Shakers

Hello everyone,
Today I created a simple shaker card using the large MFT "Thanks" die.  I die cut it from some blue & white striped cardstock, built my shaker components, added lots of purples, blues and iridescent sequins, then put it on a piece of light blue Coredinations textured cardstock that was in my stash and then put it all on an A2 white card base.  Trying to keep it simple and let the shaker element take center stage.  I then added a few clear "hole-less" sequins on top and it was done.  I think it came out pretty clean and simple and like it.  Hope you enjoy!

Day 2 MFT Camp Create 2017 - Remarkable Resist

Hello everyone,
For day 2 of Camp Create it is Remarkable Resist. I used the Distressed Stripes MFT cling stamp and used versamark ink to stamp then used white embossing powder over top.  I heat set then used Distress Oxide ink in Fossilized Amber to sponge on the background.  I then stamped out the pig and flowers from the Sow Much Cuteness MFT set and watercolored with Distress Oxide inks and my Wink of Stella pen - they are all super glittery in real life.  I then used a spare piece of white cardstock, colored with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide and stamped my sentiment, also from Sow Much Cuteness. I finally finished it off with a few clear (hole-less) sequins.  I love the colors and the bright, cheery-ness of it all together.
See you soon

Day 1 MFT Camp Create 2017 - Galaxy Watercolor Background

Hello everyone,
For the first day of Camp Create I tried my first galaxy background.  I was thinking of a dark, clear night under the stars and although I think it looks a little like snow I like this first try and will try again, it was fun to do with my Gansai Tambi Watercolors.  I added some perfect pearls mist to the background before adding my scene.  I watercolored the Warm & Fuzzy Friends elements from MFT and created a night time camp site.  I added Rock Candy Stickles to the trees and glossy accents to the orange of the fire. On the yellow of the fire and the tent window I added the Nuvo Glow Drops in Neon Banana Split.  (It is super fun to see them really glow when it is dark) I added my panel to an A2 card base and that finishes this card.  Enjoy some other pictures of my project below.
See you soon

Unconventional Mother's Day Card 2017 - Sow Much Cuteness

Hello Everyone,
So I love cute little piggies.... and the piggies from MFT are adorable!!! This is from the "Sow Much Cuteness" Set.  I colored in the little guy with my Zig Clean Color Brush Pens and added some Wink of Stella.  I then stamped the background with the Simon Says Stamp "You Matter" large sentiment in a light grey color.  I popped up the piggy with some fun foam and added some Pretty Pink Posh sequins. I also added some beautiful sparkly washi tape to the bottom and top, because the more sparkle the better, right?  On the inside I stamped the "you" from the SSS set and added the "are the best" as well in onyx black versafine, I also stamped some flowers and the butterfly at the bottom for some added fun.  I love the SSS "You Matter" set, it is one of my go to sets and I love the large sentiment stamp and the wording and it was perfect for my mom - she is all those things listed and more, unique, talented, loved, smart, kind, etc., and she is definitely the best mom I could have ever asked for or been blessed with.
I picked this piggy because when I first saw him holding that flower I had one saying running through my mind- "If friends were flowers, I'd pick you" and to me that summed it up because if mom's were flowers I'd pick her every time.
So I hope you all enjoyed this card, here are a few more pictures, and I will see you all soon!

Crazy Dog Father's Day Card 2017

Hello Everyone,
Here is my Father's Day card for this year.  My dad loves dogs so it was a no-brainer to use the Tim Holtz Crazy Dogs stamps & dies.  I colored the cute little pup with my prismacolor pencils and popped him up in the cut out with some fun foam.  The cut out was created with the MFT die-namics square peek-a-boo window.  My colored panel was done with TH Distress Oxide inks using the Concord & 9th Triangle Turnabout stamp (this was actually my first attempt with the triangle stamp and I truly messed it up, but kept it and this came out of it) I used the Hero Arts "Happy" and it is in TH oxide ink pistachio and then I stamped "father's day" in versafine black onyx and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I also used a die cut of the stars in shiny silver for some added interest and added this behind the cute little pup.  I am happy with how it turned out and am sure my dad will love it.
